Florida is bursting with new life in Spring, what better time to head to the Sunshine State to view and photograph nesting birds.ย Join Wildlife photographer, Jennifer Leigh Warner for a few days of exploring Florida’s wetlands and parks.

About your leader….
Jennifer Leigh Warner is a fine art conservation wildlife photographer, writer, public speaker and workshop leader, living in Central Texas and specializes in creating meaningful images that conveys a message of hope for the natural world. Jennifer feels strongly that by sharing these images of beautiful animals in their natural environment, she can inspire those around her to preserve the world that we share with all living creatures.
Jennifer is a Certified Texas Master Naturalist, an Ambassador for Nature First and is on the Board of Directors for the North American Nature Photographers Association as well as serves as their chair of the Ethics Committee.
Jennifer works closely with conservation organizations to help support their missions to protect wildlife and the world around us. She believes that photography is a powerful tool to share these stories, educate photo viewers on important topics and inspire change.
Jenniferโs work has been published in Outdoor California, Gizmodo, the NANPA Expressions Magazine, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, WIRED, The New Yorker, National Geographic Online and Wild Planet Photo Magazine among others.

Day 1 (April 27)ย
- Arrive at Orlando International Airport where your tour leader will pick you up.
- Transfer to Orlando based hotel
- Evening photo session at Joe Overstreet Landing
- Afterwards we will have a welcome dinner
Day 2 (April 28)ย
- We will spend our morning photographing nesting birds in Orlando Wetlands.
- After a short break to refresh and recharge we will head to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.ย
Day 3 (Apr. 29)ย
- We will spend our morning photographing at Orlando Wetlands
- After grabbing some lunch we will drive up to St. Augustine to check into our next hotel.
- In the late afternoon we will head into the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, which houses a wild bird rookery. This is one of the best places in the world to photograph up close nesting birds, such as herons, egrets and spoonbills.ย
Day 4 (Apr. 30th)ย
- We will spend our morning back at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm photographing nesting birds.
- We will drive back to Orlando for our late afternoon flights home.ย ย

Cancellations are only effective upon WIWP receiving a written cancellation notification, signed by the client. Deposits and payments are used to secure and pay for the clientโs accommodations, transportation, guides, internal flights and all aspects of the clientโs trip and are non-refundable.ย
We understand that conflicts arise, so if you need to cancel and if WIWP fills your spot at full price prior to the due date of the final payment, a refund, less a 20% administration fee and
less any non-refundable air tickets purchased, single supplement, etc. may be issued; however, there are no guarantees. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance, in most cases this will be your only opportunity to recoup non-refundable fees.ย
In the event a client fails to join a safari/tour/workshop, join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no tour fare refund will be made. Some airfare may be non-refundable and WIWP is not responsible for providing a refund for any penalties or non-refundable airfare. There will be no refunds from WIWP for any unused portions of the tour. The above policy applies to all travel arrangements made via WIWP.ย
CHANGE IN TOUR/WORKSHOP:ย
WIWP will make every attempt to operate a safari/tour/workshop once confirmed, but will reserve the right to cancel and/or change a trip at our sole, reasonable discretion at any time due to insufficient bookings, unsafe or undesirable travel conditions for the participants and/or reasons beyond its control, such as: strikes, wars, acts of God, acts of government, civil unrest or any other cause whatsoever, that may make operation of the tour impossible, illegal, or inadvisable.ย
In the event that WIWP changes or postpones the date(s) or itinerary of any safari/tour/workshop due to any reason set forth above, then no refund shall be due to the client.ย
In the event that WIWP cancels the tour, then all tour payments received from the client shall be refunded, and said refund will be the limit of WIWPโs liability. WIWP is not responsible for any expenses incurred by clients in preparing for the trip, including non-refundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees, or other tour-related expenses.ย
