Join award winning wildlife photographer, Jennifer Hadley for an extraordinary wildlife experience in one of the most remote and spectacular locations in North America—Katmai National Park, Alaska. This immersive photo tour takes you deep into the wilderness, where you’ll camp in the heart of bear country and witness some of the most iconic brown bear behavior on Earth.
Each day, you’ll photograph massive coastal brown bears as they fish for salmon in rivers, interact on the open tundra, and nurture their cubs—often at close range and in golden light. You’ll gain exclusive access to prime shooting locations and receive hands-on instruction to help elevate your skills.
Expect long days filled with action, quiet moments of awe, and the rare privilege of sharing space with these powerful animals in their natural habitat. Comfortable tent accommodations, hearty meals, and round-the-clock bear safety support are all part of this rugged yet rewarding adventure. Jennifer has extensive experience leading bear camps in Katmai and we have hired top tier guides that know the bears and prioritize safety.
Whether you’re looking to build your wildlife portfolio or simply reconnect with nature in an extraordinary setting, the Katmai Bear Camp Photo Tour is a bucket-list journey you’ll never forget.
