This tour makes a great extension to either the Kodiak/Katmai bear tour and/or the Musk Ox tour.

The stunning landscapes of the Anchorage area, from forests to mountains, provide beautiful backdrops for your photos, making for visually striking images.

With the help of expert guides, you will be given ample opportunity to photograph Moose in a safe environment.

Shorter lenses that can be hand held are recommended for this trip, such as 70-200, 100-400, and possibly a wider angle lens for landscapes.

*If you request a shared room, we will do our best to pair you with another participant. However if we are unable to find a roommate for you, the single supplement will be applied to your final invoice.

Final payment is due six months prior to departure.

Day 1 (Aug. 30th)

Plan to arrive in Anchorage at any time and transfer to your accommodations.

Day 2-4 (Aug. 31st – Sept. 2nd)

You will be picked up early at your accommodation and spending the day exploring for Moose with the help of expert guides.  Each day expect to walk up to four miles, but this will be done at a slow pace.  There will be breaks for snacks and water and the group will be having lunch together.  Everyone will be returned to your accommodation by night fall.

Day 5 (Sept. 3rd)

Transfer to airport in the morning for flights out.
