MADAGASCAR FOSSA EXTENSION
NOV. 4TH-7TH, 2026
Just Added
This unique tour extension is crafted for wildlife photographers eager to capture one of Madagascar’s most elusive and fascinating predators—the Fossa. Traveling to the dry deciduous forests of Kirindy, we’ll focus our efforts during the peak of the Fossa’s mating season, when these rare carnivores are most active and visible. With the guidance of expert local trackers, you’ll have an exceptional chance to photograph these agile, cat-like hunters in their natural habitat.
Along the way, we’ll make a special stop to photograph the breathtaking Avenue of the Baobabs—a world-renowned landscape of towering, ancient trees that offers unforgettable golden-hour compositions. This iconic scene, paired with the thrill of tracking Fossas, makes for a powerful combination of Madagascar’s wildlife and scenery at its most photogenic.
This extension offers rare wildlife encounters, spectacular landscapes, and a truly immersive photographic adventure.
