The Taj Mahal, located in Agra, India, was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth. It is widely considered the greatest architectural achievement of the Mughal era, blending Persian, Islamic, and Indian architectural styles.
Constructed over 20 years with white Makrana marble, the Taj is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It symbolizes eternal love, with an exquisitely symmetrical design, ornamental gardens, and a stunning central dome that seems to float over its base.
The group will have the opportunity to photograph this stunning landmark during both sunrise and sunset sessions. there will also be a visit to the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site.ย Upon completion of this tour everyone will return to Delhi to begin the Tiger Safari.

Day 1 (Mar. 24th): DELHIย ย
You will be picked up from the New Delhi- Indira Gandhi International Airport and transferred to your hotel.ย
Day 2 (Mar. 25th): DELHI – AGRAย
The tour begins with a morning meet up at the hotel lobby, after breakfast. We will start off on our 3 hr long roadย journey to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and other monuments from the Mughal Era. Upon arrival, we will check intoย out hotel and meet up for lunch at the hotel restaurant. After some rest we shall head out in the evening to visit theย Mehtab Bagh gardens. The garden is located on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River from across the Taj Mahalย itself. This will be your fist view of the Monument. The garden is an ideal place to photograph the Taj during sunset asย well as well as once it gets dark.ย ย
After the evening session of photography, we shall return to the hotel for dinner and a good nightโs sleep. (Meals:ย B,L,D)ย
Day 3 (Mar. 26th): AGRA-DELHIย
On this morning, we shall rise early for the sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. The objective is to get there before dawnย and enter through the East or West Gate, with our guide assisting with tickets and security. Once inside get ready toย witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Taj Mahal, as its white marble glows in golden hues. Learn about its richย history and Emperor Shah Jahanโs legendary love story. You will find a frame worth photographing everywhere youย look. The sunrise tour gives you the advantage of soft light as well as a fairly less crowded premises.ย ย
Post the Taj visit we will head back to our hotel for breakfast and check out of the hotel. Fom here we shall head toย the local crafts market, where you can indulge in some shopping and street photography. Agra is known for itsย fabulous handicrafts made of marble and soft stone inlay work. Agra’s major handicraft products besides inlay workย are leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.ย
From here we shall head to the Agra Fort an imposing red sandstone fort, also an UNESCO World Heritage Site, builtย by three generations of Mughal Emperors, in around 100 years and is about 400 years old. It was the main residenceย of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 and one of the finest Mughal forts in India. The elegant buildingsย inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.ย ย
Once we are done with the fort visit, we shall have lunch and head back to New Delhi. (Meals: B, L)
