Join wildlife photographer, Sarah E. Devlin on an extraordinary 10-day journey through Tanzania’s most breathtaking landscapes, designed for photography enthusiasts who dream of capturing the heart of Africa and the Big Five. From the grandeur of Tarangire National Park to the dazzling hues of Lake Natron, and the iconic Serengeti National Park, this safari promises unforgettable moments!
A safari in Tanzania is an extraordinary journey into some of the world’s most iconic and breathtaking wilderness areas. Known for its vast savannahs, diverse wildlife, and stunning landscapes, Tanzania offers an unparalleled experience for nature and adventure enthusiasts.ย We use highly experienced guides that we have worked with before and will get you in front of some exciting wildlife.
Our safari begins in Tarangire National Park where you’ll find a contrasting experience with its baobab-studded landscapes and massive elephant herds. During the dry season, its river becomes a magnet for animals, making it a prime location for game viewing. Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife, provides yet another unique habitat to explore.
We’ll then move on to Serengeti National Park, famed for its annual Great Migration. Here, millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains, creating one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are frequently spotted stalking their prey, providing thrilling moments of predator-prey dynamics.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is another highlight. This ancient volcanic caldera hosts a high concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. As you descend into the crater, the panoramic views give way to close encounters with elephants, buffalos, and flamingos wading in soda lakes.
A Tanzanian safari is not just about wildlife; it’s also a cultural journey. Visits to Maasai villages allow travelers to engage with the traditions and daily lives of these iconic East African people.
Bring your camera gear, a sense of adventure, and prepare for an unforgettable photographic journey!
